Three North Side streets will be without water Thursday night, the Pittsburgh Water and Sewer Authority said.

The PWSA will repair a water main on East North Avenue at Middle Street beginning at 7 p.m. Thursday, the authority said in a press release. Work is expected to be completed by 3 a.m. Friday, PWSA said.

No water will be available on East North Avenue -- from James to Howard streets -- Linden Place and Middle Street -- both from East North Avenue to Knoll Street, PWSA said.

Residents have been notified of the water outage and are asked to call the PWSA at 412-255-2429 or 412-255-2409 in water- or sewer-related emergencies.
