14-year old shot in leg on North Side

A 14-year old male was taken to a local hospital after being shot in the leg.
According to police scanner activity, the male was shot in the leg on North Charles Street around 9:50 p.m. An Allegheny County dispatch supervisor confirmed the police responded to a call in the street's 2500 block and that one person was injured at the location. There was no information available regarding victim's condition.
