Stacy Innerst is the artist. You are the caption writer.

With anywhere from 50 to 100 different competitors typically in the Caption Contest, it's hard for any single one to bowl the judges over with multiple submissions, but our CapCon 190 champ took both a win and a show, in horse-racing terms. Now it's time to take aim at CapCon 191 to try to pull off your own Impavido -- it's not dangerous, but there's a high degree of difficulty.

Send up to three entries to page2@post-gazette.com or mail to: Caption Contest/Portfolio, Post-Gazette, 34 Blvd. of the Allies, Pittsburgh PA 15222. Please include name and address and identify your municipality or city neighborhood. Deadline: Aug. 27. Winners receive a PG umbrella, and unlike the state of Pennsylvania's elections officials, we won't require you to show any ID for the right to it.

Winners of CapCon 190
First Place

It was a good thing Bob discovered the mix-up before the race began.

Leo Impavido, Forest Hills

Second Place

After the last race, what happens at The Meadows stays at The Meadows.

Ed Wintermantel, Mount Washington

Third Place

"If you had any horse sense, you wouldn't have worn the wrong pair in the first place."

Leo Impavido
