Woman hit in head, Jeep stolen at Crafton shopping center

Crafton police are looking for a carjacker who attacked a woman and stole her red Jeep Cherokee around 7 p.m. Tuesday in the parking lot of the Crafton Ingram Shopping Center.
The suspect is described as a white man of average height, wearing dark pants and a hoodie.
The woman reported that she was walking to her car when she was struck in the head with an unknown object, police said. She was taken to a hospital but had been released by this morning, said Crafton police Chief Mark Sumpter. So far there are no leads, and anyone with information is asked to call the Crafton police. The vehicle is a 2007, with Pennsylvania license plate HBZ-1666.
