Weekend work to close Ft. Duquesne Bridge inbound

The inbound lower deck of the Fort Duquesne Bridge will be closed the next two weekends as work on a $23.3 million rehabilitation project accelerates.
PennDOT has announced weekend closures from 7 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday the next two weekends. This weekend's work will come with the Pirates in town for a series against the New York Mets. Both the Pirates and Steelers are out of town the following weekend.
These other restrictions are currently in effect: The southbound approach from Route 65 to the inbound lower deck is closed through 5 a.m. Aug. 30. On-ramps from Allegheny Avenue, Ridge Avenue and Reedsdale Street and off-ramps to Fort Duquesne Boulevard and the 10th Street Bypass are also closed until Aug. 30.
Traffic on the inbound lower deck is reduced to two lanes during weekday daylight hours and one lane from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. nightly through Aug. 27. The off-ramp to Fort Duquesne Boulevard remains closed until Sept. 10.
