A Uniontown man is under arrest after opening fire on another driver following a road rage incident Thursday on Interstate 70.

Blair J. George Jr., 26, was awaiting arraignment last night on charges of aggravated assault, simple assault and recklessly endangering another person.

State police said Mr. George and Chad Schlag, of Wheeling, W.Va., "became involved in a road rage dispute while traveling west" on Interstate 70. The two then pulled over onto the berm in Buffalo Township. Mr. George got out of his car, pointed a pistol at Mr. Schlag's window and then fired one to three shots at Mr. Schlag and his passenger, Chris Marling, of Martins Ferry, Ohio. Neither man was injured.

Mr. George then left the scene and was later arrested by members of the state police and the South Strabane Police Department. They recovered a 9 mm pistol from inside Mr. George's car.
