A 9-year-old boy was one of two killed last night in a mobile home fire in Young Township, Indiana County.

The county coroner's office identifed Michael Jerome Collier, 9, and Vickie Milliron, 50, of Claridge as the victims of a fire that occurred late last night.

KDKA reported that the boy's mother, Teresa Firek, was working at the Clarksburg Valley Inn when the fire broke out.

Ms. Firek's boyfriend, Brian Shunk, 27, and his stepson Dominic were also home at the time of the fire. Mr. Shunk is Ms. Milliron's son.

Mr. Shunk and his stepson were flown to UPMC Mercy Hospital with severe burns and are in unknown condition, according to KDKA.

Firefighters were dispatched to the home at 11:54 p.m., but arrived to find it engulfed in flames. Ms. Milliron, who was visiting the home, was found outside dead of thermal burns.

Collier, who lived at the residence, was found dead in the rubble about three hours later of smoke inhalation, according to initial toxicology reports.

State police are investigating the cause and origin of the fire. No autopsies are planned.

Correction/Clarification: posted Feb. 18, 2013: In an earlier version the wrong last name was given for Brian and the wrong relationship was given for Dominic.
