The Steelers got more salary-cap relief when cornerback Ike Taylor agreed to restructure the contract he signed before the 2011 season.

Taylor becomes the third player, along with linebackers LaMarr Woodley and Lawrence Timmons, to re-work his contract to help the Steelers shave approximately $25 million off their cap.

Taylor signed a four-year contract in July that kept him from becoming an unrestricted free agent.

Woodley reduced his cap number from $11.5 million to $4.94 million, but it does not affect his take-home pay. He was due a $5.5 million roster bonus in March that was converted to a signing bonus along with $2.7 million of his $3.4 million salary in 2012.
