Pitt junior forward Nasir Robinson had surgery to repair torn meniscus in his right knee this morning and will be out for 3-6 weeks.

Robinson injured the knee at practice Monday and it swelled Tuesday, when it was decided that surgery was needed.

Robinson started all 34 games for the Panthers last season and averaged 6.6 points and 5.6 rebounds per game.

Redshirt freshman Talib Zanna is next in line at power forward and should start in Robinson's place for Sunday's exhibition game against Northwood University.
