Summer wedding bells for Roethlisberger?

Ben Roethlisberger's would-be in-laws are staying mum on wedding plans for their daughter and the starting quarterback for the Pittsburgh Steelers.
David Harlan, reached this morning at his rural home outside New Castle, said he had no comment on a TMZ.com report that Mr. Roethlisberger and Mr. Harlan's daughter, Ashley, would tie the knot on July 23 in Pittsburgh.
In pleasant tones, he advised that it would be up to the couple to decide what to say and when to say it.
TMZ.com said it had obtained the couple's "save the date" announcement.
News media reported in January that, during the holidays, the couple had become engaged to be married. Mr. Roethlisberger declined at the time to confirm the reports, as did Ms. Harlan's family.
Ms. Harlan grew up in Hickory Township, Lawrence County, where her parents still reside.
She is a graduate of Laurel High School, where she played softball. She also holds a bachelor's degree in health science and a master's degree as a physician assistant from St. Francis University in Loretto, Cambria County. Steelers spokesman said the organization does not comment on players' personal matters.
