Steelers' Timmons injures groin

Rookie linebacker Lawrence Timmons re-injured his groin near the end of morning practice and was not expected to take part in today's afternoon session.
Timmons, the team's No. 1 draft choice, effectively missed all of the team's off-season practice sessions when he injured his groin on the first day on rookie minicamp. The severity of the injury is not known at this time and it is unclear how long Timmons will be sidelined.
