It is "probable" that cornerback Ike Taylor will have surgery after he broke his left thumb in Friday night's preseason opener against the Washington Redskins, a team source said today.

The source said Taylor, who injured his thumb on the second play of the game, will be out about three weeks.

That should allow him to return in time for the Sept. 11 season opener in Baltimore.
