The Steelers have come to an agreement with Indianapolis Colts cornerback Keiwan Ratliff on a one-year contract on the eve of the draft, a club source confirmed today.

Ratliff, 27, is the first unrestricted free agent from another team to sign with the Steelers this year. They lost starting cornerback Bryant McFadden in free agency to Arizona.

ESPN.com was the first to report the Ratliff agreement with the Steelers. No money terms were available.

The Cincinnati Bengals drafted Ratliff on the second round in 2004. He was primarily a backup in Cincinnati, Tampa Bay and Indianapolis, but could compete with William Gay to start at left cornerback this season.
