The Steelers' long attempts to restructure their ownership came to a conclusion today when they officially closed on the deal.
Ten new owners officially join a group headed by team president Art Rooney II and his father, club chairman emeritus Dan Rooney.
The long-anticipated closing of the transaction was postponed often over the six months.
Four new minority owners join a list of six that previously were announced: David Tepper, the Paul Sams Family, Ben Statler, and Mike Wilkins.
Previously announced partners in the ownership are James Haslam III, the Paul Family, Thomas Tull, Bruce Rauner, John Stallworth and the Varischetti Family.
Among those who remain shareholders in the club are three other sons of franchise founder Art Rooney Sr: Art Rooney, Jr., John J. Rooney, and members of the Patrick Rooney Family. Also retaining some ownership are members of the McGinley family, including club director emeritus, Rita McGinley
