In a vote by his teammates, linebacker James Harrison was selected this year's team Most Valuable Player.
In his first season as a starter, Harrison has been selected to the Pro Bowl and, through 15 games, has 73 tackles, 8.5 sacks and six forced fumbles.
"It is a real big honor," Harrison said. "It just shows they feel how valuable I am to the team. I am honored."
Obviously, Ben Roethlisberger merited heavy consideration by his teammates as well, as the quarterback is also headed to the Pro Bowl.
"I voted for Ben," Harrison said. "I have a hard time voting for myself."
