Staal says he expects to play in Winter Classic

Penguins center Jordan Staal said today that he expects to play tonight against Washington in the Winter Classic at Heinz Field.
Staal has not played this season because of a foot infection followed by a broken hand. He has been practicing with the club since Sunday.
"I feel ready to go," Staal said after the Penguins held a morning skate at Consol Energy Center.
"It's kind of funny how it falls, me being ready for this game."
