Slipknot, Slayer will headline Mayhem at First Niagara

The Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival is heading for Burgettstown this summer with one brutal lineup.
Topping the bill at the First Niagara Pavilion on July 28 will be Iowa's costumed crusaders Slipknot along with thrash metal legends Slayer. The main stage also will feature The Devil Wears Prada, As I Lay Dying and Asking Alexandria, plus a band-to-be-announced in the third slot.
Anthrax will headline the festival stage, with Whitechapel, High on Fire and more.
"Mayhem 2012 might just be the last and greatest metal festival before the world ends!" Slayer's Tom Araya said in the tour release. "So wreak havoc and go out in style!!"
