Pink Floyd mastermind Roger Waters, who was here in 2006 with a magnificent version of "Dark Side of the Moon," will return on a 30th-anniversary tour of "The Wall" Sunday, Sept. 26, at Consol Energy Center.
One of the best-selling albums of all time, "The Wall" includes such classics as "Comfortably Numb," "Another Brick in the Wall Pt. 2," "Mother" and "Run Like Hell." Soon after its release, on a 1980-81 tour, Pink Floyd played the album straight through while constructing a wall between the band and the crowd. In 1990, Waters performed it as a solo artist in Germany to celebrate the fall of the Berlin Wall.
He'll do it again on this tour, which begins in Toronto on Sept. 15. The Pittsburgh show will be the fourth date on the tour.
Tickets go on sale May 10 at Livenation.com.
