Quaker Valley budget has no tax increase

Quaker Valley School Board approved the proposed 2009-10 budget yesterday. The proposed final budget of $36,647,117 retains the district's tax rate at 19.75 mills.
The spending plan is available on the district's Web site, at the administrative offices, 203 Graham St. in Sewickley, and at Sewickley Public Library.
The school board will vote on the budget and taxes at 7 p.m. May 26 in the community room of Quaker Valley Middle School, 201 Graham St.
