Pitt has suspended redshirt freshman quarterback Anthony Gonzalez for two games for a violation of team rules, head coach Todd Graham announced today.

Gonzalez will participate in training camp, which begins on Aug. 8, but he also will be subject to "internal accountability," Graham said.

The suspension stemmed from an incident in May when Gonzalez was arrested in his hometown of Bethlehem for possession of marijuana. At that time, he was suspended indefinitely by Graham.

Graham also announced that offensive lineman Brandon Sacco has left the team.
