Pitt sets 2011 football ticket prices

Pitt's athletic department announced its season ticket prices for the 2011 football season.

And while the total price of the season ticket packages are going to increase from a year ago, the actual price of each individual ticket will decrease slightly as the Panthers have eight home games this year as opposed to only six last year.

The prices for the packages are as follows:

• Club seat packages are $325 and require a donation to the Panther club ($500 for a sideline club, $250 for endzone club).

• Sideline seat packages in the lower bowl will be $199 and the tickets between the 20 yard lines will require a donation of either $100, $75 or $50 depending on the location. Also, upper sideline packages in between the 20 yard lines will be $199 and require a donation.

• Lower endzone packages and upper sideline seats outside the 20 yard lines are $149 each.

• The upper endzone ticket packages are $116 each.

• Student tickets are $25 each.
