Pitt downs IUP in final exhibition game

Pitt defeated IUP, 73-56, in an exhibition game tonight at the Petersen Events Center. It was the final tune-up before the regular season begins Monday against Rhode Island.

Lamar Patterson and Travon Woodall led the Panthers with 13 points apiece. Gary McGhee had 12 points.

The starting lineup was McGhee, Ashton Gibbs, Brad Wanamaker, Gilbert Brown and Talib Zanna.

Patterson, Woodall, Dante Taylor, J.J. Richardson and Jonathan Moore came off the bench as reserves. Freshmen Cameron Wright and Isaiah Epps did not play.
