ARLINGTON, Texas -- The Pirates' two representatives in the All-Star Futures game will be catcher Tony Sanchez and outfielder Gorkys Hernandez. The game will be July 11 in Anaheim, Calif.

Sanchez, the first-round draft pick last year, is batting .314 with four home runs and 35 RBIs for high Class A Bradenton.

Hernandez, acquired in the Nate McLouth trade, is batting .250 with two home runs and 19 RBIs for Class AA Altoona. Hernandez got off to a slow start, but he is batting .318 in June with a .410 on-base percentage and both home runs.

Conspicuous by his absence is pitcher Bryan Morris, the system's top performer at any level with the exception of those prospects recently promoted.
