Pirates option Thomas back to minors

The Pirates today optioned left-handed reliever Justin Thomas back to Class AAA Indianapolis to make room in the bullpen for recently acquired Chan Ho Park.

Park arrived late at PNC Park late Thursday night and will be available to pitch tonight.
