Pirates add sleeves to their uniforms

  • The Pirates today unveiled their lineup of jerseys for the 2009 season. It includes a new black alternate jersey (at right) as well as the addition of sleeves to the team's home white and road gray jerseys. The pinstriped uniform will be the only one without sleeves. The Pirates this afternoon unveiled new uniforms that included a restoration of sleeves to their regular jerseys and a new black model as an alternate.
