Pens' roster moves could mean return soon for Staal
Share with others:
The Penguins have returned forwards Colin McDonald and Jason Williams to their farm team in Wilkes-Barre.
Those moves suggest that center Jordan Staal, who is recovering from a knee injury, might be ready to come off injured-reserve and rejoin the lineup this weekend when the Penguins have home games against Winnipeg and Tampa Bay.
McDonald and Williams both played in the Penguins' 3-2 shootout loss in Montreal Tuesday night.
