Pens assign Tangradi, MacIntyre to AHL to get playing time

The Penguins today assigned wingers Eric Tangradi and Steve MacIntyre to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the American Hockey League.
The move gives the two a chance to play while the Penguins are on a break until Monday for the All-Star game.
Tangradi has no points in 12 NHL games this season. MacIntyre has no points in 11 games, including a one-game recall this week.
