Penn State's Bradley, Vanderlinden won't be Temple's coach

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- Penn State defensive coordinator Tom Bradley and linebackers coach Ron Vanderlinden are staying put -- at least for now.
Although Bradley and Vanderlinden both interviewed for the head coaching job Friday at Temple, a source inside the Nittany Lions' program told The Post-Gazette today that neither Penn State assistant coach will be hired by the Owls.
The source said Temple has targeted Florida offensive coordinator Steve Addazio to replace Al Golden, the former Penn State player and assistant, since the beginning of its coaching search.
Bradley and Vanderlinden both are in Clearwater Beach, Fla., helping Penn State prepare for its Jan. 1 Outback Bowl game against Florida. Both teams are 7-5.
