Penn State remains unbeaten, tops Illinois, 38-24

Derrick Williams returned a kickoff 94 yards for a touchdown on the first play of the fourth quarter last night to cap his three-touchdown performance that sparked No. 12 Penn State to a 38-24 victory against No. 22 Illinois in a nationally televised game at Beaver Stadium.
The victory in the Big Ten Conference opener for both teams lifted Penn State's record to 5-0 for the first time since 2005. Illinois is 2-2.
Williams also caught a 21-yard touchdown pass from Daryll Clark late in the first quarter and scored on a 5-yard run in the second.
