The Penguins today signed defenesman Joe Morrow, their first-round pick in the 2011 draft, to a three-year entry-level contract.
Morrow, who was selected 23rd overall, is expected to continue his junior career with Portland of the Western Hockey League. The contract will kick in when he turns pro.
