PHILADELPHIA -- The Penguins assigned forwards Jeff Taffe and Connor James to their farm team in Wilkes-Barre immediately after their 6-3 loss to Philadelphia at the Wachovia Center today.

Taffe and James stayed in Philadelphia, where the Baby Penguins will face the Flyers' top farm team Sunday afternoon.

James was recalled from Wilkes-Barre Friday in the wake of an injury to Penguins forward Max Talbot, while Taffe had been summoned last Tuesday. Taffe earned an assist on the Penguins' final goal this afternoon.
