Penguins return Pesonen to farm team

The Penguins have returned forward Janne Pesonen to their farm team in Wilkes-Barre. Pesonen was recalled from the Baby Penguins Thursday as a precaution after forward Max Talbot took a shot off his left foot during the Penguins' 5-3 victory on Long Island the previous night. Pesonen dressed for the Penguins' 4-3 loss in Buffalo on Friday and their 4-1 victory against New Jersey last night at Mellon Arena, but he logged a total of just 13 minutes, 18 seconds of ice time and did not record a point.
