Penguins keep Tyler Kennedy

Right winger Tyler Kennedy is staying with the Penguins.

Kennedy, who was eligible to explore unrestricted free agency at noon today, accepted a two-year deal worth $2 million per season near the deadline.

Financial terms were not immediately available.
