Sidney Crosby was back on the ice as the Penguins prepared to practice at Mellon Arena this morning.

Crosby, whose right foot was bruised when he blocked a shot by Anaheim's Francois Beauchemin during the Penguins' 5-4 victory Saturday, sat out their workout yesterday.

X-rays did not detect a fracture, and Crosby has said repeatedly that he intends to be in the lineup when the Penguins face Montreal tomorrow at 7:38 p.m. at Mellon Arena.

More details in tomorrow's Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.
