The Penguins have recalled forward Dustin Jeffrey from their American Hockey League affiliate, and he is expected to play tonight against Boston at Consol Energy Center.
The three players who missed Sunday's practice because of illness -- forwards Evgeni Malkin and Chris Conner, and defenseman Brooks Orpik -- took part in the Penguins' morning skate and should be available for tonight, but forward Arron Asham now is out because of illness.
This is the second recall of the season for Jeffrey, who leads Wilkes-Barre/Scranton in scoring with 37 points, including 15 goals.
