Peebles Road in McCandless has reopened to traffic.

The state Department of Transportation said the road reopened Friday after about four months of work installing a large drain pipe.

The road, also known as Route 4064, had been open to local traffic only between Hemlock Drive and Presidential Drive.

Allison Park Contractors, Inc. of Allison Park completed the drain pipe installation.
