Motorists cautioned on predawn icy conditions

The National Weather Service in Pittsburgh has issued a special weather statement warning drivers of possible icy conditions in some areas of Allegheny, Beaver, Butler and Lawrence counties.

While temperatures overnight remained above freezing for most of the area, a few locations, especially valleys in the region, have seen below-freezing conditions. The weather service received at least two reports of icy bridges in Beaver County.
