McCandless candidate enters state House race

Democrat Sharon Brown of McCandless last night announced her challege for the state House seat now held by Republican Mike Turzai of Bradford Woods.
Dr. Brown, who will run in the 28th District, is a nursing administrator at the Community College of Allegheny County and president and CEO of Brown Consulting and Research, which works with community health organizations.
In a news release, Dr. Brown said, "What Harrisburg needs are common-sense reforms, bipartisan communication and cooperation across party lines."
Her doctoral studies were in public health at the University of California, Los Angeles and the University of California, Irvine.
