State police said a man was struck and killed by a car early today in Greene County.

William Cliff Marshall, 42, of Graysville, was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident on Route 4007 in Gray Township.

State police said Mr. Marshall had parked his van along the berm. He then walked from behind his van into traffic and was struck by a 2006 Chevrolet Cobalt traveling "at a slow rate of speed" from Route 4015 to Route 4007 at around 7 a.m. The force of the crash caused him to roll over the hood and onto the windshield.
