The man who was shot twice in Brighton Heights this evening has died.

Pittsburgh police Lt. Dan Herrmann said the 35-year-old man, whose name has not yet been released, died in the hospital at about 6 p.m.

Officers found the man lying in the kitchen of a first-floor apartment at 1710 Termon Ave. Lt. Herrmann said investigators suspect the man was shot while trying to buy marijuana during a drug deal gone bad.

Police are searching for three men who left the scene in a clean, white Ford F-150 pickup truck.

An emergency dispatch supervisor said the shooting was reported at 4:47 p.m. and the victim was taken to Allegheny General Hospital. Police were interviewing a witness tonight.
