Man killed in Friendship fire was brother of other victim

The Allegheny County Medical Examiner's office has identified a man killed in a fire Feb. 8 in Friendship as Affo Doungbe.

Mr. Doungbe, 49, was from Lome, Togo, and was visiting his sister Koko Doungbe, who was also killed in the fire.

Mr. Doungbe died of smoke inhalation.

Investigators say a 6-year-old playing with a lighter started the blaze, which ripped through an apartment building on South Graham Street.

Ms. Doungbe was pronounced dead at the scene. Mr. Doungbe was rushed to West Penn Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
