A district judge held Arthur Henderson for trial this afternoon on multiple charges after prosecutors said he raped and robbed three women at gunpoint after breaking into their homes last month.
Mr. Henderson pleaded not guilty to the charges, which included multiple counts of rape, sexual assault, robbery and unlawful imprisonment.
One woman from Hopewell and two other from Ross testified that a masked man broke into their homes and held them at gunpoint, threatening to kill them if they screamed. He then forced them to undress and raped them before making off with their cash, bank cards and other valuables, they said.
Semen found on the women matched Mr. Henderson's DNA, according to an analysis by the county medical examiner's office.
Mr. Henderson is being held without bond at the Allegheny County Jail.
