PHILADELPHIA -- Evgeni Malkin, who has missed the Penguins' past four games because of a knee injury, plans to be in uniform for their game against Philadelphia at the Wells Fargo Center tonight.

Coach Dan Bylsma was noncommittal about whether he expects to have Malkin or left winger Chris Kunitz tonight, saying it will be a "game-time" decision on whether they dress, but Malkin said after the team's game-day skate that he'll play.

He did so initially in a rather novel way: By declining to answer a reporter's questions.

Malkin does not do interviews on gamedays, at least ones when he plans to play, and gave curt responses to a couple of questions about how he was feeling and what he planned to do this evening.

"That's why I'm not talking," he finally said. "Because I'm going to play."

It's not clear where Malkin will be used, but Bylsma said that even if Malkin and Kunitz both dress, Malkin might get some work on Crosby's line.

More details in tomorrow's Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.
