Malkin, Gonchar, expected to play tonight

Defenseman Sergei Gonchar and center Evgeni Malkin participated in the Penguins' morning skate and are expected to be in the lineup tonight against the New York Islanders at Mellon Arena.
Gonchar has been limited by strep throat and missed practice Wednesday. Malkin was a late scratch Tuesday for a game against Washington because of a digestion-related illness and misssed practice Wednesday.
Winger Chris Kunitz, who has missed the past two games because of a shoulder injury, participated in the morning skate but will not play tonight.
