LB Timmons likely out of Steelers game

Linebacker Lawrence Timmons did not practice today, which means he is not expected to play Thursday night when the Steelers kick off the NFL season against the Tennessee Titans at Heinz Field.

Keyaron Fox will start at inside linebacker and also play in the nickel defense. Fox, a special teams co-captain, will make his first start with the Steelers.
