Jeannette wins AA state title in OT

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - The Jeannette boys' basketball team won the PIAA Class AA championship this afternoon, but needed overtime to pull out a 76-72 victory over Philadelphia Strawberry Mansion at Penn State's Bryce Jordan Center.
Jeannette had a chance to win at the end of regulation, but Terrelle Pryor's shot in the lane missed. In overtime, Jeannette outscored Strawberry Mansion, 16-12.
Jeannette became the first school from the WPIAL to win PIAA football and basketball championships in the same school year.
Pryor finished with 23 points, 8 rebounds and 5 blocked shots. Shaw Sunder scored 21 and Jordan Hall 16.
