A man was killed early today when his SUV crashed into a boom truck on the McKees Rocks Bridge, shutting it down for about three hours.
The SUV driven by Chris Puhlman, 59, of McKees Rocks, might have slid on ice about 7:45 a.m. when it struck the truck, a spokesman for the Allegheny County medical examiner's office said.
The bridge was closed in both directions while police completed their work.
County homicide detectives who are investigating could not immediately be reached for further comment.
