Students returned to Franklin Regional's high school and middle school this morning after teams of bomb sniffing dogs checked the schools.
Students had been kept out of the buildings after a student found a bomb threat near a student parking area.
The senior high school was re-opened around 9:45 a.m.; the middle school was cleared around 10:40.
Additional security measures will be in place and additional security personnel will be on-site for the remainder of the 48 hour time period mentioned in the threat.
A student discovered the typed note around 6:45, according to a school district statement. The note said, "there will be a bomb situation at the high school or middle school within the next 48 hours. Yours Truly, God J"
