Flash flood warning issued as storms roll through

The National Weather Service in Pittsburgh issued a flash flood warning for much of the region, including Allegheny County, after heavy rainstorms began rolling through at mid-afternoon.
The warning is in effect until 5:45 p.m.
Rainfall of more than 1.5 inches was reported in some areas.
Play was canceled for the rest of the day at the U.S. Women's Open at the Oakmont Country Clublate this afternoon.
The Weather Service said this afternoon it had no immediate reports of flooding.
The most rainfall was reported in Clarion County, where two inches of rain fell in a short period around 2:30.
At 4:30, Route 837 in Duquesne was reportedly closed by flooding.
