Driver charged in crash that killed 2 on motorcycle

A Fayette County man has been charged with homicide by vehicle for a crash that resulted in deaths of two people on a motorcycle on Aug. 11, 2007.
Blane Edward Prinkey Jr., 21, of Connellsville, is charged with the deaths of motorcyclist Michael G. Wilson, 40, of East Huntingdon, and a passenger on the motorcycle, Victoria Trice, 42, of Mount Pleasant Township.
Mr. Prinkey is accused of failing to stop his vehicle at a stop sign in East Huntingdon, leading to the crash. State police in Greensburg made the initial arrest. The charges were filed Aug. 7.
Mr. Prinkey is free on $10,000 bond, and is scheduled for an Oct. 7 preliminary hearing.
